Why Prime Medical Transport
It’s not just about getting from Point A to Point B. It’s about how it happens. Our professional and compassionate staff make traveling for medical appointments and social events stress free. Whether you or a loved one have a doctor’s appointment or a family reunion to attend Prime Medical Transport will get you there safely and on time.
We’ve been in business since November 2013 and have traveled over 1,500,000 miles and have successfully completed over 40,000 trips.
Our experienced professional drivers are all CPR and First Aid Certified and hold advanced NEMT Training. They are also certified in defensive driving, patient sensitivity and undergo extensive background and drug screening.
Our Team
Pat Curnan – Owner/CEO
Pat is an experienced business owner and for 30+ years of her career she has worked in the service industry, managing teams who delivered high quality services and exceptional customer service. Pat knows from experience that when your business is service, service is everything. Since 2013 Pat has owned and operated her business Prime Medical Transport. Her personal experience of caring for her mother who had health issues and mobility challenges, was the inspiration for her to open the personal transport business. She discovered the need firsthand and realized she could do something about it. Our customers are glad she did!
Karen Moniz – Office Manager
Karen directs and coordinates scheduling, dispatching and Accounts Receivable. Her 15 + years of experience as an office manager and her attention to detail have been invaluable for our operational efficiency and success. She joined the team in February 2016.
Monica Ellis – Dispatcher/Customer Service
Monica joined the Prime Medical Transport team in 2019 to handle route management, dispatch trip edits, facility confirmations and medical billing. Her 15+ years of administrative excellence and customer service experience quickly made a difference for our team and customers.
Heather Robinson – Training & Safety Manager
Heather oversees new driver training, OSHA training and vehicle safety. She joined the team in 2013 and has helped to maintain the highest standards of safety which in a business like ours matters both to us and our customers.
Mike Roth – Field Manager/Trainer
Mike joined our team in 2017 after 10 years of working as a CNA and now holds a certification as an EMT. He brings his compassionate and caring self to each personal transport trip. Mike oversees our driver safety and training and stretcher transport service. He also coordinates our vehicle maintenance program. His role model behavior sets the standard for our team of drivers, who respect his leadership and learn from him on a daily basis.

With Prime Medical Transport drivers you get more than you expect. They are a compassionate and caring group ready to assist you in getting to your destination on time with care. Our drivers have diverse backgrounds with a common interest in helping people who need assistance to get where they need and want to be. Their reputation for excellence in serving our customers keeps our customer satisfaction bar high.
Our Fleet
Our vehicles are all ADA compliant and operated by CPR/First Aid trained individuals. Our wheelchair vans are easy entry/exit with a fold down ramp. Our vehicles can carry 2 wheelchairs at once and can accommodate 2 family members or staff to accompany the client. We conduct routine inspections daily and scheduled vehicle maintenance. All vehicles are inspected and certified on a yearly basis. All vehicles are cleaned inside and out.

Our specialty is wheelchair transport along with assisted ambulatory and stretcher transport.
Prime Medical Transportation provides private, non-emergency local and long-distance patient transportation to and from medical appointments, social events and errands. We offer private pick-ups at your home, nursing home, hospital, rehabilitation facility, hospice facility, palliative care facility or other locations as specified in your reservation and bring you to any location you desire.
Our professional and courteous drivers will meet you in uniform with an ID displaying their picture and name. Our drivers are available to wait for you during your appointment for an additional charge. We promptly arrive to pick you up and escort you to the transportation vehicle for your return trip.
